since i won't be writing in this really, i thought i would just say a little about myself and my work. i enjoy working in different mediums, but i enjoy graphite {pencil} the most. i love creating mixed media portraits, and i also love typography, polaroid photographs & graphic design just as much. i am currently an illustration major at art center college of design in pasadena, ca.

i just bought a moleskine sketchbook and i love it despite the fact that it's just a sketchbook like any other, except with a little pocket in back. i take it with me when i go somewhere where i can just sit and sketch. i'm planning on posting these sketches in the scraps section of my devart account. nothing fancy, just fun {or boring?} stuff...

my favourite&most influential artists,designers,filmmakers & photographers: stanley donwood, gottfried helnwein, aesthetic apparatus, david carson, sofia coppola, mary ellen mark, sterling hundley, mark ryden, jeff soto, wes wilson, stefan sagmeister, tim burton, andy warhol, wes anderson, henry darger, alan ball, chris cunningham, digital kitchen, greg spalenka and robert rauschenberg. i am obviously forgetting a lot.

other influences include: public transportation, the environment, technology, city landscapes, concert posters {esp. those of the fillmore}, how.to manuals, self.help books, propaganda posters, sketchbooks, adbusters magazine, the people around me. my biggest influence however, is music {the smashing pumpkins, elliott smith, radiohead, the new pornographers, wilco, bjork, pj harvey, debussy}.
